Mona has worked on various projects ranging from commercial to hospitality and healthcare. She is currently focused on affordable housing projects and enjoys working alongside mission driven clients to deliver quality designs that meet the needs of the occupants. She believes design should be inclusive and accessible.
Mona has a deep interest in sustainability, health, and equity, and feels privileged to be a contributing voice in the conversation of how we design the built environment.
Mona has previously worked at Perkins Eastman, AvroKO, Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Habjan Betancourt Architecture, and SHoP Architects. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from New York School of Interior Design, a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from UCLA, and Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University. She also serves on the ASID National Professional Development Committee, the ASID California Peninsula Emerging Professionals Affairs Chair, and AIASF Committee on the Environment.
YU TSUJI

Yu has over 20 years of experience on the design and documentation of numerous project types from multifamily affordable housing to luxury high-rise towers, contemporary homes, educational facilities and commercial office buildings.
Yu has cultivated a wide ranging design perspective from his work in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, and Asia. In particular, Japan's sensitivity to nature and craft has influenced his approach to sustainability and building technologies. He strives to mediate the high aspirations for ambitious design projects with challenging constraints and quality goals through innovation and collaboration.
Yu has previously worked at SHoP Architects, Kengo Kuma and Associates, Skidmore Owings and Merrill, and Anshen+Allen Architects. He has a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from California College of the Arts.
